Constant full-power availability thanks to membrane-drying unit
The Tornado is equipped with the innovative Dürr Dental membrane-drying unit and has an unbeatable advantage : Constant power availability. Because the drying process is based on diffusion through layers of membrane fibres, the regeneration step required when using traditional drying procedures is superfluous. The membrane-drying unit generates dry compressed air with a pressure dew point of ≤ 5°C constantly at an ambient temperature of 40°C. This prevents condensate forming in the line system in normal conditions.
Since the membrane-drying unit prevents moistness, microorganisms have no breeding ground. The compressors are equipped with fine filters in order to remove even really small particles from the air. The annual replacement of the filter is the only maintenance measure required – otherwise, the drying unit is maintenance-free. An optional sterile filter is also available for further protection against contamination by microorganisms.
To sum up: Unlike traditional drying procedures for dentistry, the pressure dew point at 40°C is a constant ≤ 5°C. This means that there is no risk of condensed water building up in the tank and pressure lines.

The membrane-drying unit generates dry compressed air with a pressure dew point of ≤ 5 °C constantly at an ambient temperature of 40 °C. This prevents condensate forming in the line system in normal conditions.
Since the membrane-drying unit prevents moistness, microorganisms have no breeding ground. The compressors are equipped with fine filters in order to remove even really small particles from the air. The annual replacement of the filter is the only maintenance measure required – otherwise, the drying unit is maintenance-free. An optional sterile filter is also available for further protection against contamination by microorganisms.
To sum up: Unlike traditional drying procedures for dentistry, the pressure dew point at 40 °C is a constant ≤ 5 °C. This means that there is no risk of condensed water building up in the tank and pressure lines.

The dry air suction systems by Dürr Dental are extremely powerful yet run really quietly. The V suction units are called dry systems because the aspirated substances are quickly guided into a separation/amalgam elimination unit. These components are integrated into the Dental Unit. Only dry air reaches the suction unit.
Seven to eight hours of continuous operation are not unusual. This places high demands on the technology. Dürr Dental V suction machines fulfil these requirements tirelessly. The contact-free, rotating turbine wheels generate the required vacuum and flow rate (suction power). A reliable electric motor enables non-stop operation. To reliably protect against condensated water, all models are fitted with a condensate separator as standard.

Flexible solutions to meet your needs
Dürr Dental offers vacuum systems for dry and semi-dry suction systems. The flexible solutions are available in 6 variants and suitable for up to 100 treatment units. The integrated exhaust air bacteria filter only has to be changed every 3,500 hours. The power side channel compressors are precisely adjusted to the requriements by the intelligent PLC system.
High reliability, low power consumption
A sensor switches the custion motors on and off as required, allowing efficient use to be made of the electrical energy. The PLC system controls the equal use of the V machines, increasing their overall service lie and reliability. An electrical and mechanical auxiliary air valve provides additional cooling for the motots and a constant suction power.
Everything's under control thanks to the PLC system
Which suction motor is running? Momentary vacuum? Bakteria filter change? These questions are answered for the technician by the clinic display in the intelligent programmable logic controller. This allows him to monitor the complete suction or compressed air system at any time and to easily detect faults. The visualisation system from Dürr Dental even allows all the clinic systems to be remotely monitored.
