Orthodontic Model trimmer

Silfradent orthodontic model trimmer are available as :

• SM 300: dry model with diamond disc
• SM 300W: wet model with corundum disc
• SM 300WD: wet model with diamond disc

Dry trimming has the advantage that the plaster is not subjected to humidity-related shape changes. We recommend equipping the dry SM 300 with the especially conceived 801ASP aspirator (900 watt).

The wet models, connected to the main water supply, work with a continuos water flow which cools and washes the disc.

Discs
The carefully studied Orthodontic Model Trimmer is fitted with a superior diameter disc (mm 300). The diamond abrasion (SM300D) is long lasting (average 50 models /day for 5 years). It ensures perfect edges and outlines. The economic corundum disc (SM3DISC), compared to the same performance, needs to be replaced more frequently.

Work tables
The work table is supplied with the following accessories: vertical trimmer, angle guide and 70 mm template. A second work plate of aluminium is supplied and can be set by 90° to the grinder or tilted by 10°, up or downwards.
