Rusted instruments should first be pre-cleaned separately with EC 60. EC 60 also thoroughly removes brown/gray deposits left by disinfectants and cleaning agents after autoclaving, tarnished areas or autoclaved blood spots. We recommend to thoroughly clean medical instruments with an acid-based product approximately every 6 months.

Motor Chair
The motor chair movements are microcomputer-controlled and has a silent electro-hydraulic seat elevating action; a maximum load of 135kgs.and electro-hydraulic backrest raising action; a maximum load of 55kgs.and backrest reclining action. The motor chair has the contour-type seat and slim, round type backrest, left side armrest(fixed type) with easy-to-clean upholstery, and the free support type headrest with extensive adjustment range of 180mm.
The motor chair has five memory operations; the ????emory & ????uto switch to move the chair into the desired position and the gargling position to raise the backrest only, the ????uto 2(A2) to reverse the chair to the entry/exit position, the ????2 to move the chair into the second desired position, and the ????ast position to return to slightly adjusted position (from the desired position) after the gargling position, as well as has manual operations.
The motor chair has the following safety systems:-
Means that all motor chair movements cannot be activated when an instrument is being used.
The action taking place with depression of the memory & auto, auto 2(A2) or M2 switch can be stopped midway in movement by depressing the STOP switch on the assistant’s instrument holder or by pressing any of switches except the switch activated.
The chair movement is automatically suspended when the chair base is stepped, the obstacles like an assistant stool, etc. touch the bottom of the assistant’s instrument holder arm, the lower part of the spittoon section or the backrest.

Spittoon Stand
The spittoon bowl is kept clean by titanic oxide coating which has photocatalytic reaction and the spittoon bowl flushing nozzle can be detached very easily which means it can be washed under running water. The Elmasteam 8 med* steam jet cleaner is the ideal tool to pre-clean such instruments and smoothly removes even tenacious contaminations like burnt-in tissue on electro-surgical forceps.** During cleaning, germs are reduced by 99.875 % and proteins by 97 % (Prüfinstitut HygCen Austria, 06/2017). So the valuable instruments are preserved for longer time.
The insides of hollow body instruments can be connected directly to the Luer-Lock-connection at the handpiece or can be cleaned with the optionally available adapter set.
The high performance of the Elmasteam 8 med is due to the optimised piping system with larger cross sections, the intelligent pump control, the increased heating power (60% more) as well as the optimised heating position.
The intelligent control system of the Elmasteam 8 med calculates, by means of preset water hardness and the intensity and frequency of use, the proper time for decalcification. The user is led step by step through the decalcification process. Due to this integrated decalcification programme and the protection against dry running of the heating, the Elmasteam 8 med is highly reliable and fit for use for a long time.
By taking these measures and provided that the unit is being operated properly and in one-shift operation, the usual warranty can be extended to 3 years.
