During treatment, doctors may use ultrasonic scalers, 3-way syringes, high and low speed handpieces and many other types of equipment spray to generate a large amount of water mist combined with bacteria, saliva, and blood from the patients mouth wich will produce aerosols. The external oral suction removes these aerosols to prevent cross-infection betwen doctors and patients.
Suction hoods are not autoclavable and should be cleaned by 75% alcohol or non-corrosive disinfectant by wiping or atomization.
With strong suction vaccum pressure and large flow rate, which greatly reduces the risk of cross infection between doctors and patients.
The aerosol and air entered the suction unit is filtered through primary filter and HEPA strainer, sterilized by ultraviolet rays, and then discharge through a large amount of plasma sterilization and purification.
