Clinic Pressure System P 12000
For up to 70 workplaces with max. 40 operators at the same time.
Compressed air from Dürr Dental
Apart from the powerful suction systems where a central separation system can be installed upline, Dürr Dental also offers central compressed air stations for clinics with refrigerator-dryer and cyclone separator for up to 80 workplaces per station (e.g. P 12000). The combined installation of the matching compressed air and suction systems offers a number of cost benefits and synergy effects for the operator.
Extremely compact
The frame takes up the same floor area with compressed air and suction systems. Minimum space required. The systems V 6000 to V 18000 and P 6000 to P 12000 have the same design. Advantage: A number of units tailored to each project for the exactly calculated number of treatment chairs/phantom workplaces.
Simple operation thanks to PLC
The systems are controlled via a programmable logic controller (PLC). That simplifies operation and ensures optimum control comfort. The modern control unit also directly controls the operational safety: e.g. through the additional automatic cooling and automatic load switching of the units for optimisation of the service life.
Bacteria filter for the compressor intake
The selected bacteria filter type is employed on the suction system as an exhaust air germ filter and in the compressed air system as an intake air bacteria filter – that simplifies the stocking of spare parts. The filter ensures hygienic air and long service lives. Filter changing is necessary only every approx. 8,000 hours. The display signals the necessary change so that it is not forgotten.
Central remote monitoring
The remote monitoring (visualisation) of the compressed air stations is possible thanks to a central monitoring system which monitors all the units, e.g. the checking of error messages, operating hours, filter changes, operation, etc. It can also be linked to the existing central control centre via floating contacts.

Quattro Tandem
Quattro Tandem, the nonplus ultra in power for dental laboratories and large surgeries with a 90 litre tank, optionally with one or two units.
For four (1 unit) or eight operators.
Unit for cleaning and care of handpieces and elbows, other sterilisation and laboratory equipment also required compressed air. This has to be added to the number of operators.
Go digital. Tandem compressors with electronic controls.
This innovative control technology has features which make the regulation and monitoring of your compressor even easier and safer.
In addition to electronically tuning and adjusting the pressure range to meet the exact need, it also offers a digital display of the air quality and operating pressure of the compressor.
Control of the aggregate is oriented toward consumption and avoids unnecessary parallel work by both aggregates.
Due to a master/slave control, Tandem compressors can operate side-by-side, i.e. parallel on one single compressed air net.

Compressor
Tornado 1
Dental compressed air for the highest requirements
Dental compressed air must be hygienic. The moisture content must therefore be reduced to a minimum and any contamination caused by oil or solid particles must be completely prevented. Any such contamination would have a negative effect on the durability of high-quality preparations and the function of delicate instruments. In addition, the hygiene and sterility requirements of the patient must be met.
The membrane-drying unit on the compressor prevents a moist environment, which would provide the ideal breeding ground for organisms. As well as ensuring dryness at all times, it provides constant availability with no regeneration time. The low pressure dew point ensures the impeccable, taste- and odour-free supply of compressed air.
Really powerful, extremely quiet
The Tornado is one of the quietest compressors in dentistry, yet it is still very powerful. The highly developed compressor set is extremely quiet, and can have a calming effect on both patient and practitioner.
Robust and long-lived – designed for continuous operation
When choosing a compressor, reliability is the most important consideration. In the Tornado, all important functions are combined in a multifunctional mono-block cylinder. Thanks to the central intake filter in its closed crankcase, dirt particles are prevented from entering the compressor unit. This makes the Tornado more reliable and extremely long-lived.
Economical and efficient
For decades now already the Tornado compressor series has stood for high quality at a great price. For the new generation of compressors, cost-effectiveness has been increased even further and their energy consumption has been reduced by approx. 15 %. So you save on costs whilst protecting the environment!
Features :
- Oil-free, dry, hygienic
- One of the quietest of its kind
- Low maintenance, only requires an annual filter change
- Very reliable thanks to the closed crankcase
- Hygienic, taste and odourless compressed air

Constant full-power availability thanks to membrane-drying unit
The Tornado is equipped with the innovative Dürr Dental membrane-drying unit and has an unbeatable advantage : Constant power availability. Because the drying process is based on diffusion through layers of membrane fibres, the regeneration step required when using traditional drying procedures is superfluous. The membrane-drying unit generates dry compressed air with a pressure dew point of ≤ 5°C constantly at an ambient temperature of 40°C. This prevents condensate forming in the line system in normal conditions.
Since the membrane-drying unit prevents moistness, microorganisms have no breeding ground. The compressors are equipped with fine filters in order to remove even really small particles from the air. The annual replacement of the filter is the only maintenance measure required – otherwise, the drying unit is maintenance-free. An optional sterile filter is also available for further protection against contamination by microorganisms.
To sum up: Unlike traditional drying procedures for dentistry, the pressure dew point at 40°C is a constant ≤ 5°C. This means that there is no risk of condensed water building up in the tank and pressure lines.
