Composi-Tight Matrix Forceps
Composi-Tight® Matrix Forceps provide the grip necessary for band removal while their precision tips provide the tactile control needed for placement without distorting the interproximal area of the matrix band. You can put away your cotton forceps and your hemostats, and replace them with the one instrument designed specifically for the job.
Precise Placement – the tips have a 75-degree angle with an occlusal-gingival orientation, providing a more appropriate placement angle than cotton forceps. The petite, carbide tips allow the matrix to be grasped at its upper edge to prevent distortion of the interproximal area of the band.
Unbeatable Grip – the tungsten carbide tips provide exceptional grip and tactile control for tough access cases.

Conservative Class II preps are great for saving tooth structure, but can make the placement of your Composi-Tight® sectional matrix bands difficult. FenderWedge® will lend you a hand by “pre-separating” the teeth while you prepare the tooth. When the prep is done, remove FenderWedge and slide your Composi-Tight band into place.
As a fantastic added bonus, the firm stainless steel shield protects the adjacent tooth from inadvertent contact with the bur. Again, protecting valuable natural tooth structure while saving you the hassle of having to polish out nicks.

Even our most die-hard Composi-Tight® sectional matrix system users need a Tofflemire-Style matrix band from time to time. Slick Bands™ non-stick matrices are the first Tofflemire-style bands to virtually eliminate the problem of difficult to remove matrix bands. Modern bonding agents do a fantastic job of bonding resins to tooth structure. Unfortunately, they also do a good job of bonding the matrix band to the restoration. Slick Bands eliminate this hassle. A micro-thin coating bonded to either dead-soft or regular stainless steel reduces bonding agent adhesion by 92%!
