Rooter
Rooter, the new reference when it comes to high-quality motors, developed by FKG, will revolutionise endodontics.
The motor offers an impressive range of technical innovations, all designed to enable work in the most comfortable of conditions – even during complex operations.
Whether you’re working Crown-Down or Single Length, Rooter ensures an optimal, efficient and safe root treatment, thanks to its powerful white LED focused on the work zone, as well as exceptional handling. Its ergonomic design, with a small head contra-angle and the possibility to work through 360° in 5 positions, helps make your work less tiring.
Cordless, Rooter gives you freedom of movement, while its Lithium-Ion battery guarantees a stable rotation speed and allows you to treat some 30 patients before recharging. The motor offers a vast range of speeds, from 250 to 1200 rpm, and its torque can be set precisely to 9 settings from 0.5 to 3.5 Ncm.
In order to lighten your workload, Rooter allows you to preset 10 different torque/speed programmes in its internal memory. 3 memory locations are pre-programmed into the Rooter in our factory – namely the iRace and BioRace sequences, as well as D-Race instruments.
FKG kept a tight focus on safety during product development. Rooter automatically activates reverse rotation
in case of blocking or in case the file goes beyond the programmed torque. In this case, the file is stopped, and
starts turning gently in the opposite direction, at up to 100 rotations per minute.The motor offers an impressive range of technical innovations, all designed to enable work in the most comfortable conditions – even during complex operations.

S-Apex
Glide Path.
S-Apex is a NiTi rotary instrument with inverted taper, an ideal addition to every Endo sequence, ensuring greater safety in high curvature, narrow or sclerosed canals. If the breaking limit is exceeded, S-Apex, because of its inverted taper (ISO diameter D1 > D2) breaks or bends at its safety point, that is, 16 mm from the tip. The broken part of the file can easily be removed from the canal with tweezers thanks to the exclusive anti-screwing in design which prevents any blockage or permanent fixation.

ScoutRace
Glide Path.
Used for the mechanized scouting of high curvature or S-shaped canals, ScoutRace is a sequence of three Race instruments with a taper of .02 and ISO diameters 10, 15 and 20. At first passage instruments, they are used after the working length (WL) has been determined using hand K-Files or an apex locator. Root canal preparation is completed using BT-Race, iRace or BioRace sequences.

Sensipast
Obturation
Sensipast is the only paste filler with an automatic safety clutch that results in stress-free work.
Sensipast reacts before the restraints exceed the metal elasticity limits.
When its active part, the automatic clutch reacts before the wires can rupture. The miniature clutch is housed inside the Sensipast handle, a unique design that means it can be used with most contra-angles on the market.

Soft Core Obturator
The Soft Core System, following its introduction in 1996, is still one of the fastest and simplest means to 3 dimensionally fill a root canal and produce a complete apical seal. With over 20 million canals obturated, Soft Core has withstood the test of time for over 15 years!
The unique features of Soft Core allow it to be used with all file systems, whether it be hand files or rotary files.
In addition, the advantages over other obturation techniques are obvious :
- Less expensive
- Detachable handle
- Easier post space creation
- Gamma irradiated obturators packaged in individual compartments
Soft Core Obturators are manufactured with a radiopaque plastic core coated with injection molded thermoplastic gutta percha.
The handle and insertion pin may be removed leaving a hollow portion in the coronal section of the core. This facilitates post space creation using our Core Remover bur.
The handle and insertion pin may also be snapped off at the orifice of the canal once the gutta percha has cooled. Removing the handle after each canal is obturated will increase access and visibility when filling multi rooted teeth.
Soft Core is available in sizes #20 through #70. The taper is compatible with all file systems.
The Soft Core Heater can accommodate four obturators at one time – ideal for multi rooted teeth. The heating time is 60 seconds. However, the unit prevents overheating to allow use of the obturators as they are needed.
The Soft Core Package is designed with six individually sealed compartments to avoid cross contamination of the obturators. Each compartment has an easy peel off seal.

TotalFill®
TotalFill®is a pre-mixed bioceramic obturation material. It is dispensed using a syringe in cases of root canal obturation and with either a syringe or as a putty when doing root repair and retrograde fillings.
TotalFill® is available for two types of usage:
- 3D obturation
- Root repair needs and retrograde fills
1. TotalFill®BC Obturation Kit.
This set features a TotalFill®BC Sealer syringe (1.5g), an assortment of TotalFill®BC Points / paper points (Ø 4-6) and 15 TotalFill®Tips.
This highly radiopaque and hydrophilic sealer, TotalFill®BC Sealer, forms hydroxyapatite upon setting and chemically bonds to both dentine and to our bioceramic points (TotalFill®BC Points).
BC Sealer is anti-bacterial during setting due to its highly alkaline pH and unlike traditional sealers, BC Sealer exhibits absolutely zero shrinkage! Each component is also available separately.
2. TotalFill®Material for root repair (RRM).
The TotalFill® RRM repair material comes in two specially formulated consistencies: as an injectable paste or a putty.
The RRM is highly resistant to washout and ideal for all types of root repair and pulp capping treatments.
Easy to handle, robust and with a relatively short setting time (around two hours), it is also highly biocompatible and osteogenic.

XP-endo Finisher
Root canal preparation and retreatment.
Based on the shape-memory principles of the NiTi alloy and thanks to its extraordinary capacity to expand, the XP-endo file is able to treat root canals with highly complex morphologies, from the narrowest to the largest, and from the straightest to the most severely curved canals.
Because of its small core size – ISO 25 in diameter – and its zero taper, XP-endo Finisher benefits from incredible flexibility and shows unparalleled resistance to cyclic fatigue. XP-endo Shaper
The XP-endo Shaper is the latest addition to the XP-endo® range. It is a truly innovative shaping instrument which can be used to radically simplify endodontic sequences.
The need for 3D canal cleaning and the emphasis placed on less invasive treatments have increased in recent years. FKG is meeting this demand with the creation and release of the XP-endo Shaper.
The MaxWire® and Booster Tip technologies combine to make the XP-endo Shaper a « One File Shaper ».
It has the ability to start shaping at ISO diameter 15 and to achieve ISO diameter 30, but also to increase the taper from .01 to at least .04. It allows to reach a canal shaping of minimum 30/.04 and this with only one instrument. The XP-endo Shaper is the instrument of choice for the treatment of the vast majority of canals.
