Choose the flow you need
The Bulk Base kit includes 2 resin consistencies to match the specific case. Use High Flow with lower viscosity for larger bases. Use Medium Flow with higher viscosity for the cavities involving the interproximal, buccal or lingual surfaces.
Dramatically less shrinkage
Resin shrinkage poses problems for both dentist and patient. It can lead to gapping…occlusal pain…long-term leakage.
Traditional restorative materials are engineered using BisGMA or UDMA monomers, both of which shrink substantially as they cure.
BULK BASE is different
Sun Medical scientists have taken advantage of a newly invented monomer called LPS. As it cures, LPS shrinks far less than traditional monomers. Containing this monomer, BULK BASE has achieved dramatically less shrinkage!
