SM 300
Orthodontic Model trimmer
Silfradent orthodontic model trimmer are available as :
- SM 300: dry model with diamond disc
- SM 300W: wet model with corundum disc
- SM 300WD: wet model with diamond disc
Dry trimming has the advantage that the plaster is not subjected to humidity-related shape changes. We recommend equipping the dry SM 300 with the especially conceived 801ASP aspirator (900 watt).
The wet models, connected to the main water supply, work with a continuos water flow which cools and washes the disc.
Discs
The carefully studied Orthodontic Model Trimmer is fitted with a superior diameter disc (mm 300). The diamond abrasion (SM300D) is long lasting (average 50 models /day for 5 years). It ensures perfect edges and outlines. The economic corundum disc (SM3DISC), compared to the same performance, needs to be replaced more frequently.Work tables
The work table is supplied with the following accessories: vertical trimmer, angle guide and 70 mm template. A second work plate of aluminium is supplied and can be set by 90° to the grinder or tilted by 10°, up or downwards.Equipment :

Suction Bench BR100
The suction bench for High Speed Grinder BR100 aspirates all the dusts preventing the dispersion in the working environment.
The bench consists of a main structure divided into two sections: aspirating motor group and the filtering group.
The aspirating group is built inside the bench and is composed by an induction motor; both characteristics ensure the maximum level of noiseless. The filters can be easily inspected and cleaned by empty them into a sack. It is indeed advisable to aspirate the residues.
The working plane and the border are covered with plastic laminate.
In the front side of the bench is placed the general switch with automatic disconnection device and two drawers to contain material to be used.
While on the rear side can be found the two plugs and the switch for the current feed.

Ultrasound Bath VS 350 – VS 600 – VS 900
The Silfradent ultrasound bath is created for optimal results and ease of use using innovative technology. Cleaning and grease removal is enhanced tremendously with the ultrasound system, as compared to traditional methods.
How Silfradent ultrasound works :
It is based on ultrasonic transmission of electricity at a frequency of around 30 Khz 30,000 movements per second.If the intensity of the ultrasound is sufficient, the cavity within the microbubbles in the liquid will build up and burst. The microexplosion takes place at a temperature of 14000 degrees and a pressure of 1000 atmospheres .
An advanced electronic control drives the transmitters to produce maximum results. A micro control monitors the supervisory system and verifies all the parameters:-control of temperature, time of working, electrical security and frequency of resonance in case of breakdown.
