Innovation Is Power
Evolution aims at perfection, finest details and rigorous constant improvement. Stern Weber’s DNA is based on the wonders of technology, on enthusiasm for innovation, on the strength of genuine novelty. Rigour and precision are the key aspects of each new product, and the shapes of new design infuse such products with life. We believe in flexible working, in the perfection of true talent, in the importance of concrete steps being made towards true progress. We foresee the future today to guarantee a more innovative tomorrow.
Flexibility Zone
With the S220TR we’ve introduced a series of extremely versatile models. Whatever your operating style, we provide a practical ergonomic solution that suits it perfectly. For those seeking cuttingedge performance, we offer technologically advanced devices and instruments. For those who demand uncompromising safety, we offer a broad range of validated hygiene systems. And for those looking to optimise workflows, we offer smoothly integrated multimedia and X-ray diagnosis systems. S220TR: for those who want an integrated treatment centre that can be moulded around their needs.
Ergonomics to enhance your individuality
Classic and innovative ergonomics. Six models that cover a vast range of dentistry needs. For dentists who operate in indirect vision mode, the International model provides a solution that is as comfortable as it is flexible.
Side Delivery
With an adjustable dentist’s module installed on a cast aluminium metal support structure, ensures outstanding stability while the Cart provides full freedom of movement. The Continental provides optimal instrument manoeuvrability and a pantograph arm that passes over the patient for hindrance-free positioning, while the Hybrid model offers absolute versatility as it can be used by both right and left-handed dentists.
A hybrid model offering unparalleled versatility
The S220TR HYBRID provides peak ergonomic versatility. The dentist’s module rotates 340° to reach positions all around the patient while the assistant’s module can be shifted right or left and remains independent from dentist’s module rotation. Exceptional operating freedom whether working alone or with an assistant.
Built-in comfort
Each specific component is designed with the same conscientiousness that Stern Weber dedicates to continuous research, providing solutions that evolve together with the needs of the dentist. In addition to ergonomics, the comfort factor is of prime importance, because a patient at ease enhances the working effectiveness of the medical staff. Special patient chair shaping makes it easier for Atlaxis staff to get in close to the operating zone: also features Trendelenburg movement and a 190 kg lift capacity.
Personalisation as a key value
A key aspect of the Stern Weber philosophy is that of leaving dental unit personalisation to the dentist, allowing him to express his professionalism in full. Not just in terms of ergonomic configurations and colour schemes, but also as regards hygiene systems, instruments, foot controls and operating lights. Because the Stern Weber world is your world.
When control becomes simple
Easily read, the data shown on the large LCD display concerns instrument parameters and dental uniting operating status. Icons for control of patient chair, main instrument settings, systems and accessories are arranged on the keypad logically and intuitively.
Performance to match your talent
The extensive range of exclusive instruments means that Stern Weber offers nothing less than the very best performance. Dentists can configure the dental unit in the knowledge that sophisticated, reliable electronics provides complete integration of instruments, allowing them to place complete trust in the tools at their disposal and so express their skills in full. On each version (except for S220TR Hybrid), it’s also possible to complete the dentist’s module with an optional sixth instrument: camera or curing light.
Perfectly integrated with your individuality
Stern Weber offers you a solution of outstanding practicality and versatility: the X-ray system integrated on the dental unit. Not just any system but a set of cutting-edge devices, each created around new technologies that boost your diagnostic capabilities. Consisting of an X-ray unit with wireless control, digital sensor and medical-grade LED monitor, the integrated Wireless handheld unit X-ray diagnosis system eliminates all the inconveniences associated with separate equipment installation.
The pleasure of communication
Being able to provide a clear explanation of treatment and illustrate the achieved results provides a simple way of reassuring patients and strengthening their trust in the dentist. Such tools are equally reassuring for the dentist, who can count on the extremely practical technology of Stern Weber multimedia devices. Perfectly integrated with the dental unit electronics, the new 16:9 format high definition camera with HD sensor and 19” flat screen monitor are extremely simple to use and provide instantaneous communication with patients.
Safety systems ready for anything
When we design a Stern Weber product, we certainly don’t let our guard down when it comes to hygiene. For us, protecting dentists, assistants and patients from the risks of cross-contamination is more than a practical, conscious decision – it’s a duty. Which is why Stern Weber offers hygiene devices of scientifically proven effectiveness. All you have to do is choose the desired level of protection.

Stern Weber S280 TRC
Personality Zone
Each patient is different and, above all, so is each dentist: no-one knows this better than Stern Weber. That’s why dentists who choose us are free to configure all the elements around the dental unit according to their personal preferences and so create a highly customised integrated treatment centre. Once the ergonomic configuration best suited to the dentist’s operating style has been defined, it’s then possible to decide how best to equip the dental unit in terms of hygiene devices, instruments, integrated multimedia and X-ray systems, foot controls, operating lights, suction system amalgam separators and all the other Stern Weber accessories. We build dental units to provide a made-to-measure solution for you.
Technology takes off
The main innovation is incorporated on the instrument control panels – Smart Touch and Full Touch – featuring touch-screen technology. Both offer outstanding performance: when it comes to deciding which is most suitable, the choice is yours.
Smart Touch, consisting of two areas, a touch-sensitive one and another with a classic keypad, is provided as standard. The dentist interacts with dynamic menus via the touch-screen display to set hygiene parameters, adjust and personalise instrument settings and monitor all the devices integrated with the dental unit software. The keypad, instead, provides an array of rapid controls, mainly for movement of the patient chair.
The optional Full Touch display, with a large 5.7” glass screen is, instead, a leap into the future, an on-board computer with a powerful microprocessor and a Linux operating system. It can be used to control the entire integrated treatment centre and its open-source platform makes it ever-ready to incorporate new functions.
Sophisticated performance at your fingertips
Whether you’re carrying out the simplest routine task or the most intricate oral surgery, outstanding precision is a must. The level of control offered by the interface will determine the degree of precision you achieve. Thanks to the Full Touch instrument control panel, comprehensive control of both working parameters and the peristaltic pump bring out the full potential of the brushless micromotor when practising surgery.
The software contains a database of certified contra-angles plus a wide selection of generic ratios. On the Full Touch panel, parameter control and data display have been optimised thanks to simplified system browsing and user-friendly graphics.
Performance, just the way you want it
Designed together with the electronics that controls them, all Stern Weber instruments conform to strict ultra-high performance and user-friendliness criteria, with the sheer extent of the range providing excellent dental unit personalisation opportunities. Smooth integration of instruments, dental unit and software means the dentist can take full advantage of advanced performance and inspired working simplicity.
Ergonomics to help you win the space race
Modern ergonomics provides a host of benefits, and one is appreciated more than any other: space. A compact unit body and a patient chair that lifts up to the height of the cuspidor bowl means smoother staff workflows and frees up plenty of space underneath the backrest. When the chair is lowered, the patient can access the seat easily and comfortably.
The Atlaxis pneumatic headrest has become the unparalleled industry benchmark. Its orbital movement follows the patient’s anatomy smoothly, ensuring precise, comfortable head positioning
Wellbeing as you want it
Your wellbeing depends on the shared wellbeing of both those who work around the patient chair and the patients. Operating comfort and patient relaxation both contribute to good treatment results. That’s why Stern Weber has created a set of elements designed to make treatment stress and discomfort-free. Correct anatomic support throughout treatment guarantees comfort and relaxation. Memory Foam padding adapts perfectly to the build of any patient.
Every choice a personal choice
Why stop at the choice of colour or limit yourself to a certain ergonomic option when the best way to bring out your hard-earned professionalism lies in the details that follow your every single move? Stern Weber leaves the choice of foot control, operating light and the configuration of exclusive instruments – all smoothly integrated with the dental unit electronics – up to you. There are five foot control solutions, three lead-connected and two wireless, which feature controls for patient chair movement, Chip Air and Chip Water functions and other specific controls that free the dentist’s hands. At last: freedom to operate just the way you want
Dynamic diagnostics
A multimedia configuration complete with advanced technologies and an exclusive digital X-ray system lets you give voice to your professionalism as never before. Consisting of innovative, ergonomic instruments, the system increases working efficiency while giving free rein to individuality. The new HD intraoral camera, used in conjunction with the optional Full Touch instrument control panel, opens up new communication horizons. Eloquent images that provide clear evidence of the positive outcome of the treatment – and your talent.
Seamless integration
The S280TRC perfectly combines the two driving forces behind Stern Weber product development: technology and comfort. The integrated X-ray system is a case in point: the technology of an innovative DC X-ray unit, a simple handheld wireless control unit and the comfort of a system that has no need for its own installation points in the surgery. Last but not least come the extreme flexibility of the X-ray unit positioning device and a latest-generation sensor on the dentist’s module.
Understanding the dentist’s needs and then providing an efficient response to them is our overriding priority, paving the way towards solutions designed to be universal and suitable for whoever chooses Stern Weber.
Maximising effectiveness through active defence
The joint use of systems and substances designed to disinfect the water circuits constitutes nothing less than a solid ‘wall’ against contamination in the surgery. Peroxy Ag+ (H2O2) acts against all water-borne contaminants, including Legionella.
While the W.H.E. system executes a continuous disinfection process, the BIOSTER system carries out automatic spray water circuit disinfection cycles, just perfect for efficient end-of-work protection. The I.W.F.C., the device included in the BIOSTER system or available separately, ensures conduits are cleaned after the machine has been idle for a set period. With daily execution of an intensive BIOSTER disinfection cycle, checks made over a 90-day period on a working dental unit demonstrated a bacterial load of zero in the water delivered using the W.H.E. system.

Stern Weber S300
Progress Zone
Not everyone sees technology as an end in itself. On the contrary, the true value of innovation lies in solutions that lead to tangible development, to new professional horizons. The S300 offers a flexibility that provides just the progress you’re looking for. We combine comfort and ergonomics to ensure swift workflows, we merge design and innovation to provide a dental unit built around your needs. Together with you for even better results. Our technology is designed for your progress
Towards new technological horizons
Now more advanced than ever, touch-screen interfaces let the dentist manage all the dental unit functions with a simple tap. As standard on the S300, the Smart Touch instrument control panel is divided between a touch-sensitive zone that allows user-friendly display and interaction with dental unit parameters and a more traditional keypad that controls patient chair movement and positioning. Alternatively, the latest-generation Full Touch control panel is available: this features a 5.7” glass capacitive-type touch screen that links the dentist to the on-board computer governing the entire dental unit and all its integrated devices. On the Continental version an incorporated accelerometer allows this instrument to be flipped from the horizontal to the vertical and vice versa. Both control panels are available on Continental and International models.
Full screen performance
Controlling the dental unit, personalising settings, selecting and precision-adjusting instrument parameters via the Full Touch instrument control panel is the simplest and fastest way to bring out the full potential of an integrated treatment centre that lets you practice conservative dentistry, endodontics and surgery. Control and precision ensure each task is completed safely and, in the case of surgery or implantology, the level of interaction provided by the software covers clinical parameter settings, peristaltic pump adjustment and other functions that smooth preparation of the implant site and actual placement.
Enhancing control intuitively
Large icons and easy-to-understand browsing make interaction with software and access to control menus simple, letting the dentist explore and make full use of the outstanding potential of the S300. Comfort does not depend on the excellent user-friendliness of the new interface alone: it is also enhanced by smooth integration of instruments, software and dental unit. All systems – instruments, hygiene devices, operating lights, patient chair and cuspidor bowl – can be fully controlled via the instrument control panel.
Comfort: a pleasure worth sharing
Whatever the situation, Stern Weber never forgets that comfort plays a constant, mutual role. The patient must feel at ease while both dentist and assistant must be able to operate without physical stress or discomfort. Memory Foam padding supports patients correctly throughout the entire treatment session, resulting in enhanced comfort and relaxation.
Where built on wellbeing, interpersonal relations reinforce patient trust and collaboration during treatment; that trust translates into better results and heightened patient involvement. The innovatively shaped patient chair allows medical staff to move in closer to the patient during treatment. The Trendelenburg position is reached by way of synchronised movements and the reinforced structure allows patients weighing up to 190 kg to be lifted.
Ergonomics, the key to your wellbeing
Simple, precise motions, made possible by Stern Weber innovation. The second-generation Atlaxis headrest is one of the hallmark elements of a brand renowned for its attentiveness to the ergonomics of treatment and patient comfort.
Constant research into sophisticated solutions is seen in every last detail: pantograph arm excursion is aided by two special bearings and vertical travel has been increased; the dentist’s module can be positioned precisely via the pneumatic brake, released via a touch-activated sensor. Similarly, the assistant’s module also features several solutions, such as the articulated arm to allow optimal instrument positioning.
Design plus practicality
The S300 line features a unit body designed to aid access to hygiene systems and make routine maintenance easier. Reduced overall dimensions also means more space around the patient and greater freedom of movement for medical staff. In its standby position, the cuspidor bowl contributes to overall unit body compactness by remaining outside the operating zone, preventing any interference with the assistant’s workflow. The S300 combines the tangible advantages of industrial design with meticulous styling.
Choices that make every day better
Visual comfort essentially depends on two aspects of light: its brightness and quality. That’s why Stern Weber offers a choice of two operating lights with different technologies: halogen or LED lighting. On both systems ergonomic aspects regarding optical performance and positioning of the light, which can be moved on three axes, are honed to perfection.
A broad illuminated spot and homogeneous light distribution play a key role in preventing situations that can lead to severe eye strain. While brightness on the Venus Plus is adjusted via a manual potentiometer, on the optional dual-reflector LED operating light it is regulated by a no-touch infrared sensor.
Flexible configuration, secure control
Control of dental unit and individual instruments needs to be smooth and instinctive. Stern Weber has developed foot controls with three different ergonomic solutions, two of which are available in a wireless configuration to maximise freedom of movement during treatment. In addition to the improved hand hygiene that comes from transferring functions to the foot control, Stern Weber foot controls offer numerous dental unit system management possibilities: these sophisticated units allow the dentist to control patient chair movement, the Chip Air and Chip Water functions and, with the instrument extracted, invert micromotor rotation or switch on the operating light. Moreover, in surgery mode the peristaltic pump can be opened and closed.
High definition communication
Then highly advanced Stern Weber multimedia system stems from the development of sophisticated electronics that manages images on both the monitor and the Full Touch display. A high definition camera and latest-generation X-ray systems, all connected and controlled via the Full Touch panel. The dentist controls the images directly on the touch panel, medical monitor or external PC, thus speeding up diagnostics considerably.
The convenience of an integrated solution
Consisting of a DC X-ray unit with wireless control and a digital sensor housed on the dentist’s module, this comprehensive integrated system eliminates all the inconveniences associated with separate installation of diagnostic equipment. X-ray investigation outcomes are shown on the multimedia monitor and, where the Full Touch control panel is in use, directly on the 5.7” display where the dentist can adjust contrast and brightness, rotate the image, enlarge it or save it. Stern Weber innovation combines cutting-edge diagnostic instruments and advanced performance by the sophisticated software which interfaces exclusive systems and devices.
Active systems for enhanced defence
Stern Weber’s continuous research into integrated hygiene systems has demonstrated the effectiveness of combining specific disinfection systems such as W.H.E. and BIOSTER. On the one hand, the application of a continuous disinfection system combined with air gap separation provides constant defence thanks to the bacteriostatic effect of Peroxy Ag+; on the other, the automatic BIOSTER device carries out the customary end-of-work disinfection tasks, executing programmable cycles to treat the spray water circuit. The I.W.F.C. device, incorporated in the BIOSTER system or available separately, ensures water circuits are kept clean after a period of machine idleness. The effectiveness of Stern Weber-developed systems has been documented in several scientific treatises published in the specialised press.

Feeling relaxed operating without any physical duress and creating an environment in which the patient is at ease ensures numerous benefits: easier dentist-patient interaction and results appreciated by everyone. Featuring special Memory Foam upholstery, the patient chair provides an unparalleled level of comfort and anatomical support.
Enlightened by technology
Light plays a pivotal role. In addition to brightness characteristics, essential for correct illumination and prevention of eye strain, ergonomic aspects play a key part in Stern Weber research. For example, on the Venus Plus-L LED, an infrared sensor reduces manual contact while the absence of forced ventilation makes operation completely silent.
The patented curing light features ultra-high efficiency light guides that ensure a homogeneous effect over the entire composite and each programme is optimised to avoid any composite shrinkage, thus ensuring outstandingly reliable results. During polymerisation, the dentist can select a preset lighting level via the instrument control panel so as not to influence the composite hardening proces
Technology down to the last detail
In every detail, from the foot control to the interior of the smallest accessory, technology reaches into every corner of the Stern Weber world. Like every peripheral dental unit device, the foot control has been the focus of intense research and is available with three different ergonomic set-ups. Two versions communicate with the dental unit wirelessly. While powerful lithium batteries ensure exceptional autonomy, the foot control can be lead-connected to the dental unit at any time, also for recharging purposes. Foot controls are multi-purpose devices, allowing dentists to control instruments, the patient chair and other dental unit functions.

Specific settings for each individual device are made via the interactive control panel, and it’s you who makes them. The continuous sanitisation system is, instead, automatic and also guarantees air gap separation from the mains water in compliance with European standards; the system is also DVGW-certified. In addition to the active system, dental unit design also takes removable parts into careful consideration and ensures surfaces are easy to sanitise. Numerous controls have been transferred to the foot control to reduce the risk of contamination. When it comes to hygiene, we never let our guard down
Hygiene has always been – and always will be – a fundamental feature of every Stern Weber product. The bedrock of the Stern Weber philosophy consists of a constant quest for maximum-efficiency solutions and an extensive choice of devices and controls. Scientific treatises describing more than one such solution have been published, illustrating their well-known effectiveness.
The BIOSTER system carries out end-of-work disinfection by executing automatic spray water circuit disinfection cycles. The I.W.F.C. device, incorporated in the BIOSTER system or available separately, ensures water circuits are kept clean after a period of machine idleness. Each device is put through intensive trials at Stern Weber test facilities before being confirmed as an option.

Compressor
Tornado 1
Dental compressed air for the highest requirements
Dental compressed air must be hygienic. The moisture content must therefore be reduced to a minimum and any contamination caused by oil or solid particles must be completely prevented. Any such contamination would have a negative effect on the durability of high-quality preparations and the function of delicate instruments. In addition, the hygiene and sterility requirements of the patient must be met.
The membrane-drying unit on the compressor prevents a moist environment, which would provide the ideal breeding ground for organisms. As well as ensuring dryness at all times, it provides constant availability with no regeneration time. The low pressure dew point ensures the impeccable, taste- and odour-free supply of compressed air.
Really powerful, extremely quiet
The Tornado is one of the quietest compressors in dentistry, yet it is still very powerful. The highly developed compressor set is extremely quiet, and can have a calming effect on both patient and practitioner.
Robust and long-lived – designed for continuous operation
When choosing a compressor, reliability is the most important consideration. In the Tornado, all important functions are combined in a multifunctional mono-block cylinder. Thanks to the central intake filter in its closed crankcase, dirt particles are prevented from entering the compressor unit. This makes the Tornado more reliable and extremely long-lived.
Economical and efficient
For decades now already the Tornado compressor series has stood for high quality at a great price. For the new generation of compressors, cost-effectiveness has been increased even further and their energy consumption has been reduced by approx. 15 %. So you save on costs whilst protecting the environment!
Features :
- Oil-free, dry, hygienic
- One of the quietest of its kind

Constant full-power availability thanks to membrane-drying unit
The Tornado is equipped with the innovative Dürr Dental membrane-drying unit and has an unbeatable advantage : Constant power availability. Because the drying process is based on diffusion through layers of membrane fibres, the regeneration step required when using traditional drying procedures is superfluous. The membrane-drying unit generates dry compressed air with a pressure dew point of ≤ 5°C constantly at an ambient temperature of 40°C. This prevents condensate forming in the line system in normal conditions.
Since the membrane-drying unit prevents moistness, microorganisms have no breeding ground. The compressors are equipped with fine filters in order to remove even really small particles from the air. The annual replacement of the filter is the only maintenance measure required – otherwise, the drying unit is maintenance-free. An optional sterile filter is also available for further protection against contamination by microorganisms.
To sum up: Unlike traditional drying procedures for dentistry, the pressure dew point at 40°C is a constant ≤ 5°C. This means that there is no risk of condensed water building up in the tank and pressure lines.

The dry V Suction Systems
Up to 6 treatment positions, with 4 operators working simultaneously 400 V 3 ∼, 50 Hz, with condensate separator and control unit 400 V 3 ∼ // 24 V ∼
Sophisticated technology with convincing suction power.
High-quality, robust drive motors, reliable continuous operation, great suction power within seconds, and flexible installation options.
Amazing power
The dry air suction systems by Dürr Dental are extremely powerful yet run really quietly. The V suction units are called dry systems because the aspirated substances are quickly guided into a separation/amalgam elimination unit. These components are integrated into the Dental Unit. Only dry air reaches the suction unit.
Seven to eight hours of continuous operation are not unusual. This places high demands on the technology. Dürr Dental V suction machines fulfil these requirements tirelessly. The contact-free, rotating turbine wheels generate the required vacuum and flow rate (suction power). A reliable electric motor enables non-stop operation. To reliably protect against condensated water, all models are fitted with a condensate separator as standard.

V 15000
Clinic Suction System
Group with 5 suction machines incl. control unit with vacuum controller and 2 bacteria filters, remote monitoring possible.
For up to 80 workplaces with max. 50 operators at the same time.
Flexible solutions to meet your needs
Dürr Dental offers vacuum systems for dry and semi-dry suction systems. The flexible solutions are available in 6 variants and suitable for up to 100 treatment units. The integrated exhaust air bacteria filter only has to be changed every 3,500 hours. The power side channel compressors are precisely adjusted to the requriements by the intelligent PLC system.
High reliability, low power consumption
A sensor switches the custion motors on and off as required, allowing efficient use to be made of the electrical energy. The PLC system controls the equal use of the V machines, increasing their overall service lie and reliability. An electrical and mechanical auxiliary air valve provides additional cooling for the motots and a constant suction power.
Everything's under control thanks to the PLC system
Which suction motor is running? Momentary vacuum? Bakteria filter change? These questions are answered for the technician by the clinic display in the intelligent programmable logic controller. This allows him to monitor the complete suction or compressed air system at any time and to easily detect faults. The visualisation system from Dürr Dental even allows all the clinic systems to be remotely monitored.

V 300 S
The dry V Suction Systems
For 1 operator 230 V 1, 50 Hz, with condensate separator and control electronics 230 V 1 ∼ // 24 V ∼
